Additionally, we automatically collect technical information including: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, pages viewed, time spent on each page, search queries performed within the database, contacts viewed or saved, and login and logout timestamps. Information about media professionals listed in the database (journalists, editors, spokespersons, and other media professionals in Israel) is collected from publicly available sources, including news websites, professional social networks, media organization websites, and other public sources.

2. Use of Data

The information we collect is used for the following purposes: providing the services offered on the platform, including searching for and locating media contacts; managing user accounts, identity verification, and processing payments and subscriptions; personalizing the user experience and improving search results; analyzing usage patterns to improve and optimize our services; sending system notifications, service updates, and alerts about changes in the database; responding to inquiries, support requests, and complaints; preventing fraud, misuse, and violations of our terms of service; and complying with legal and regulatory requirements. We will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

Below is a breakdown of retention periods: User account data (name, email, phone) - retained while the account is active and for up to 12 months after account cancellation or subscription termination; Payment and transaction data - retained for 7 years in accordance with Israeli tax and regulatory requirements; Usage data and activity logs - retained for 24 months for analytics and security purposes; Cookie and analytics data - according to the validity period of each cookie, and for a maximum of 26 months. Upon expiration of the retention period, information will be deleted or anonymized in a manner that prevents personal identification. You may request early deletion of your information subject to the User Rights section below, and subject to any legal retention obligation applicable to us.

In accordance with the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 and the Israeli Privacy Protection Regulations, as well as in accordance with the principles of the European regulation (GDPR) which we apply as policy, you have the following rights: Right of access - the right to know what personal data we hold about you and to receive a copy thereof; Right to rectification - the right to request correction of inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated personal information; Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten") - the right to request deletion of your personal data from our systems, subject to legal retention obligations; Right to restriction of processing - the right to request restriction of processing of your data under certain circumstances; Right to data portability - the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format; Right to object - the right to object to processing for direct marketing purposes or processing based on our legitimate interest; Right to withdraw consent - the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data processing, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to the withdrawal. 8. Children's Privacy

The "Connected to Media" platform is intended for professionals and is not directed at children or minors under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under the age of 18.
